ISO Standard-to-Be-or-not-to-be on Risk Management closing in on the end of pipeline

The somewhat controversial ISO project on standardization of risk management has reached a crucial moment, at least for this time. The ISO 31000:2009 document on Risk Management Principles and Guidelines is namely under a ballot round in its final draft. The ballot is open until 25th of July. Another ISO standardization within the field of risk management, the revision of the ISO Guide 73 on Risk Management Vocabulary is up for a ballot on its enquiry phase. For those interested in an update on key trends in contracting there is an open roundtable discussion on this issue in Helsinki led by Tim Cummins, the CEO of International Association For Contract & Commercial Management (IACCM).
